Providing Licensed Psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples and Families

Why therapy? Life brings many challenges for us all. You may be considering therapy because you are feeling stuck or dissatisfied with some parts of your life. My approach to therapy is integrating my training as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher to create balance in my client’s lives. Using traditional “talk” therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while applying complementary approaches/techniques such as breathing exercises, easy meditations, as well as mantras to assist and empower self regulation and increase a feeling of self efficacy and control in your life.

As an integrative therapist, my goal is to assist you in uncovering your authentic self and to help you lead a life to your fullest potential. In working with a variety of client over the years, I have seen firsthand the positive transformation in client’s lives guided by meditation, yoga and psychotherapy. I holistically support my clients towards optimal functioning by integrating mood management strategies and provide skill set that can be used to calm the mind, body, and soul.

I received my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. I am also a Kripalu Registered Yoga Teacher and have incorporated over ten years of self practice. My credentials include clinical therapist at Good Samaritan Hospital as well as small private clinic settings. I have worked in mental health for nearly ten years, where I’ve helped hundreds of clients create powerful changes that have greatly improved the quality of their lives. I work with individuals, couples and families. Treatment specialization includes but not limited to the following:

• Anxiety/Stress
• Depression/Mood
• Trauma/PTSD
• Self-Esteem
• Relationships/Relational issues

I look forward to working with you and helping you cultivating a deeper sense of holistic well being in your life.
